The Sony Xperia Z2 will hit shelves on April 10th. Vodafone officially opened pre-orders for the android smartphone this morning.
Customers will need to pre-order the smartphone on one of Vodafone’s Red 4G plans. In addition to unlimited UK calls and texts, customers will also get between 3GB and 13GB of data depending on the package they choose.
The television that will be given to the first 3,000 pre-order customers is the Sony Bravia KDL–32R433B.
The deal opened this morning and will run until April 9th or when the first 3,000 handsets have been preorders – whichever comes first.
Sony's new flagship
Sony took the wraps off the Xperia Z2 at Mobile World Congress last month. It comes with a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM and a 20.7 megapixel camera.It’s also able to record in 4K – one of the first phones to hit the market that can do so.
The Xperia Z2 comes with the latest version of Android KitKat installed, as well as Sony’s custom skin.
The phone can be pre-ordered online via Vodafone’s store.
